Scholarships

The Alumni Scholarship Program is our highest priority.  Our strategic efforts focuses on turning alumni pride into opportunity for deserving students.  It is the most powerful way our community can directly support the next generation and strengthen lifelong alumni connections and institutional loyalty.  The program is designed to:

• reward Georgia high school seniors and transfer students for their  academic and leadership achievements,
• assist Georgia graduate students with their efforts for higher learning,
• retain Alcorn Early College students entering as on-campus freshmen, and
• attract children and grandchildren of Alcorn State University graduates      

Our scholarships are made available to all Georgia students attending Alcorn State University by monies generated from fundraising activities, endowments, membership dues, grants and generous donations to the Greater Georgia Alcorn Alumni Chapter, Inc.
